Describe the problem, not the software
Tell the advisor what is going wrong in your business, in your own words. It will ask a few questions to understand the situation, then look through every project in the catalog for ones that could solve it, whole or in part, and say why each might fit.
You describe the situation
No software requirement needed. Start with the thing that is costing you time, money or customers.
The advisor asks a few questions
What happens today, who it affects, what better would look like, and what you have to work around.
You get a shortlist, with reasons
Ranked, with a plain sentence on why each one fits your situation, plus some thoughts on solving the problem whichever way you go. A longer written version is kept under your account.
Sign in to talk to the advisor
The advisor keeps your conversation and its written report under your account, so it needs to know who you are.
Sign inYour conversation stays yours
What you describe is business detail, so it is treated as such. Your conversations and reports are visible to you, and you can delete any of them at any time. They are kept for 12 months and then removed.
The site operator can see how much the advisor is costing and how many conversations there have been, and not what anyone wrote in them. The one exception is yours to make: if you ask us for an estimate for a build of your own, that conversation is passed to Tooltwist Pte Ltd, who look after this site and treat it as confidential. A copy is kept so the estimate can be prepared, and someone comes back to you using the contact address on your account. You are told all of this before you ask, and nothing is passed on unless you do.
The advisor only looks inside this site’s own catalog. It reads the public record of each project and each version of it, the same material you can read on the project pages yourself. Nothing private to a maintainer is ever used.
